Tools for Self Reliance

During February parishioners will have the chance to show their support for the charity "Tools for Self Reliance". This group collect and refurbish tools from across the UK and send them to Africa. On two successive Sundays, 16th and 23rd February, boxes will be available at all Masses where parishioners can donate items, as part of the parish "Live Simply" initiative. What's needed? – plumbing, carpentry and building tools, bicycle repair tools shoe repair tools, heavy drills and bench grinders.

Also haberdashery items – a bag containing any of the following will be welcome: pins, safety pins, sewing crochet and knitting needles, wool, material, threads and sewing cottons, elastic Velcro, thimbles, tape measures, zips, etc. Please label each bag with its contents. Please do not donate gardening tools, bicycles, broken or poor quality tools or electrical items. This is a great way to declutter, upcycle and help our brothers and sisters in need in Africa.
