Parachute Jump

Andy Cooper, our organist, will be jumping from 12,000 feet in Kent on 9th March to raise money for Saying Good bye, part of the Mariposa Trust.

He found out about the work of the charity after his wife Luisa lost son Noah 35 weeks into pregnancy in 2011. “They could not tell us why it had happened and the whole topic is a massive taboo, no-one talks about it, yet when we lost Noah the amount of people who told us that they had gone through the same thing or knew someone who had was very surprising."

The Mariposa Trust is a leading baby loss charity that provides remembrance services and support for anyone who has experienced baby loss, whether during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy. Jump for Love is a national fundraising project for the charity and it looks to raise funds to support the ongoing work of the trust.
