KITKAT many peoples Favourite Snack Nestle have announced KitKats will no longer be Fairtrade. From October they will stop buying from cocoa and sugar farmers in Cote d’Ivoire, Fiji and Malawi on Fairtrade terms. That means ripping away around £2 million of annual Fairtrade Premium payments, in the middle of a huge health and economic crisis. Farmers will be getting less for their hard work and have less control over how they spend their money.  This can’t be right, especially when Nestle turned a profit of over $10 billion last year. We are a Fairtrade Church, please tell Nestle’s CEO that we want KitKat to stay Fairtrade. SIMPLY Tip of the Week –Treat your greens. Save water with every meal by washing your vegetables in a bowl, instead of under a running tap. Then keep your houseplants happy by giving them a drink with the discarded water. Provided by Friends of the Earth

CAFOD’s Coronavirus Emergency Appeal. The effects of coronavirus on developing countries where CAFOD works are likely to be devastating. Families without enough to eat and without access to clean water and healthcare are particularly vulnerable to coronavirus. The poorest and most marginalised communities will be pushed further into poverty. Your prayers and gifts are needed now more than ever to help protect the lives of those in poor communities. While we are not able to hold physical collections in our church, you can donate as individual at

CAFOD Online Events.  There’s some excellent talks about CAFOD’s work around the world, to listen to recordings go to
