Newsletter Items from the Justice & Peace Group week commencing 28th Feb 2021

From Worthing 4 Refugees  Our previous Parish Project Worthing 4 Refugees have now partnered with West Sussex County Council to support a third family. One of the biggest challenges of resettlement, particularly in the south, is sourcing affordable and long-term accommodation.  Worthing 4 Refugees have been in discussion with Hope into Action,  a Christian charity who, using investors, purchase property to house the homeless.  They are exploring this model as a means of providing affordable housing in this area. They ask – Can you Help? “Our existing volunteers would continue to provide all aspects of care to the refugee families but we urgently need:–

*      A small team of people to help with the process of finding and purchasing properties,

*      A small team of people to oversee the ongoing management of properties.

*      We also need individuals willing to consider investing money in this project.

If you are interested in helping in any of these ways or would like to find out more contact and I’ll get in touch with you to discuss further. Thank you for your support & prayers.”
