Taken from Bishop Richards Diocesan Bulletin – Season of Creation

The annual Season of Creation celebration began earlier this month, uniting Christians in prayer and action for the protection of our common home; it runs to 4th October. While the current pandemic has limited opportunities for people to meet physically, there remain lots of ways you get involved and help safeguard our planet.
The Season of Creation website includes useful videos and resources with a wide-ranging webinar programme.   Journey2030 is a fantastic initiative providing support and resources to churches across our Diocese.   A number of our parishes are already involved in Journey2030, with others following Cafod’s Live Simply programme.

Also there’s the Novena to St Francis

CAFOD Campaign Cancel the Debt We are one global family united in this struggle against coronavirus.  The economic shock of coronavirus has hit the world’s poorest countries hard. We’re collecting photos of supporters & families & friends from across England and Wales, and we will put your photos together in October to send a message to world leaders that it’s time to #CancelTheDebt. For more information.  Please email photos & post on social media by 7th Oct
