This August, 12 students are undertaking the GR20, a trek across the island of Corsica. It is a hike covering 180km, reaching heights of 2200 metres above sea level and will last a period of two weeks.
It is said to be the toughest trek in Europe! We are doing this to raise money for the charity MSF (Medecins sans frontiers/Doctors without borders). MSF saves lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most – in armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters. The charity won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999 for the amazing work they do.
