Eight Hours for the Lord

Pope Francis states in Misericordiae Vultus (the Official Bull of Indiction of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy), that he would like Friday, March 4 through to Saturday, March 5, 2016 to be set aside as “24 Hours for the Lord.”. During this period, we will, at St Mary of the Angels, observe 8 HOURS FOR THE LORD from 2pm to 10pm. It will be a time of prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament and of celebrating God’s forgiveness in the Sacrament of Confession.

We will expose the Blessed Sacrament at 2.00pm and you are invited to come and pray: confessions will be available (times to be notified); the rosary and Divine Mercy will be offered; there will be time for silence too. Many have signed-up to cover half-hour slots for Adoration. Of course, many more are welcome … Thank you!
