Prayer in Honour of the Holy Family

Lord Jesus Christ,
who, being made subject to Mary and Joseph,
didst consecrate domestic life
by Thine ineffable virtues;
grant that we,
with the assistance of both,
may be taught by the example
of Thy Holy Family
and may attain to its everlasting fellowship.
Who livest and reignest forever.

Amen.

November, month of prayer for those who have died

From the earliest days the Church has prayed for those who have died because we know that we all die damaged by the sins of others but also from our own sins and that before we can be united in the perfect Love and Life of God that damage has to be overcome. The Church has taught that we can help those who have died by our prayers and particularly in The Prayer of the Mass.

At All Masses we pray for those who have died but particularly in November we will include all those whose names are in our Book of Remembrance.
