Let Justice Prevail say christian women of MalaysiaMarch 2nd is the Womens Day of Prayer and a service will be held at 2:30pm in the West Worthing Baptist Church, South Street, Taring. All are welcome.
On Friday, March 2, the women of Malaysia invited the world to join with them in the World Day of Prayer celebration praying under the theme: Let Justice Prevail. The women of Malaysia name fair and just governance as the basis for peace and harmony in the social order, saying: “In the midst of such diversity, tolerance and harmony, fair and just governance for all is vital. It is our prayer that all races, ethnic groups and religions will work together for religious harmony and a just and integral development for everyone.”
World Day of Prayer, co-ordinated by the Women’s Inter-Church Council, is a worldwide movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together every year on the first Friday of March to observe a common day of prayer.

There will be a number of small group meetings (lasting about 1 ½ hours) each week during lent to discuss and reflect on the gospel readings and on the Mass.
Why not try them out even though you may not manage all the meetings? Parishioners have found them very rewarding, prayerful and friendly.
The guideline booklets called "Communion with Christ" are available free of charge in the church shop. If you would like to run a group you will find that the booklets are very helpful and take you through each step and the holy spirit will do the rest.
