RESTART WEEK . 5th – 12th September. A Home grown Mission Week.A chance at the Beginning of the Working Year, to be renewed in our love and service of the Lord. Please make use of this important opportunity in our Parish. MASS EACH WEEK DAY 6.30am (20mins) for those not free during the day Followed by Breakfast. And 10am for those free during the Day. EVENING SERVICE of different type on the theme of The Eucharist; 7.30pm. Prayer for the Papal VisitPrayer for the Papal Visit to the UK; 16-19th September 2010God of truth and love, your Son, Jesus Christ, stands as the light to all who seek you with a sincere heart. As we strive with your grace to be faithful in word and deed, may we reflect the kindly light of Christ and offer a witness of hope and peace to all. We pray for Pope Benedict and look forward with joy to his forthcoming visit to our countries. May he be a witness to the unity and hope which is your will for all people. Our next Alpha Course starts with a launch event on Thursday 23 September at 7.45 p.m. at The Barn, FIELD PLACE, Worthing. There will be a free no commitment buffet supper, live music, a licensed bar and a short talk entitled “Is there more to life than this?” with testimonies from previous Alpha guests. The parish is planning to hold an hour’s vigil in the church on Saturday evening Sept 18th to coincide with the Pope’s vigil in Hyde Park (more details later). For more details on the Pope’s visit click here. YOUTHGATHER 2010
