EASTER NIGHT VIGIL SERVICE 8pm. THE MASS OF THE YEAR—THE RESURRECTION the greatest event in History. We gather in a darkened Church to hear about the promises made by God, Light a New Fire to symbolize the Light of Jesus breaking the darkness of sin. Bless Baptismal Water and renew our commitment to bring the Risen Lord in our world of today, Celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection, The First Mass of Easter.

Good Friday 2010 Services

GOOD FRIDAY 3pm - At the time of Jesus Death upon the Cross for us, we gather to listen to the Dramatised Reading of the account of that event. Join Jesus in His Prayer from the Cross for all mankind, Venerate the Cross and receive Jesus in Communion

Palm Sunday, the start of Holy Week.

The Central week of the Churches Year. The greatest events in History in which we are invited to play our part. PLEASE COME AND TAKE PART.

LENT PENANCE SERVICE 3pm Sunday 28th March.

MAUNDY THURSDAY. 8 pm Mass of the Last Supper with the dramatized Washing of the Feet and followed by Prayer until Midnight Night Prayer at the time of Jesus Agony in the Garden. Preceded by a Shared Supper at 7pm

St Marys Walking Group. Walkers of all ages are invited to join Clare and Jane for a relaxed walk at Highdown Gardens on Sunday March 28th. We will keep the walk short – just over an hour. Then we will visit the café and make plans for walks in the spring and summer. Please meet at the church car park at 2.30pm, then we’ll drive to the start point. Please phone Clare on (07906) 081976 or Jane (01903) 200264 if you would like a lift or can offer one. We will be back well in time for the 5.30pm Mass. Another walk is planned for April 24th.

Say the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton.

The Blessing will take place of this 300 year old house after the 11am Mass in St Josephs Convent on Friday 19th March 2010. Feast of St Joseph. Mgr Michael Jackson will do the blessing at about 11.45am. Refreshments will follow blessing . You can view the old house until 4pm.

We hope you can come and grace us with your presence. This house is for quiet short breaks and can be booked through St Josephs Convent. All we ask is that those who use the house will respect its age and care for it. A donation will be gratefully accepted for stay.
