St Mary's is a community of faith - we believe in the love and forgiveness of God and we spread that 'Good News' among those we meet. The church, in the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, has been serving the Worthing community since around 1870.

    Holy Week Watch Mass Live

Vigil Mass Easter Night (Saturday 19 April) 8:30pm

As the third day begins after sundown we gather in a darkened church much as we left it on Good Friday. We listen to the illustrated prophecies of God's goodness and His victory over evil and death.

We go out as a fire is lit, breaking the darkness of the night as Jesus' Resurrection breaks the darkness of the world, and read the account of His rising. The Pashal Candle is lit from the fire and we enter the Church bearing the light of the Risen Christ. We praise and glorify him for his Resurrection. Water is blessed and sprinkled reminding us that through baptism we share in the Life of Jesus.

We celebrate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus in the 1st Mass of Easter.

Afterwards we share a celebration in the Church Social Area.

    Easter Sunday (20 April)

    8:30am Mass, 10:30am Family Mass, 5:30pm Mass
