Mission: International Mass with Shared Lunch

A Mass to end the mission week and to celebrate our different cultures and nationalities.

If you wish, wear your national costume. Please bring food which represents your nation to share after Mass in our shared lunch in Sion School hall.

Come and explore the bible through creativity and craft in this after school celebration for the whole family.

Come to our eye care workshop to receive free and no obligation eye care instruction and advice from a qualified optometrist.

All day Fairtrade, Anti-Slavery, Environment, Prayer & Reflection from the Justice and Peace group with speakers, DVDs and competitions.

A special Mass to celebrate and unite our families Use this flyer to share with family members to encourage them to attend.

Each family should bring an object which will be placed by the altar and used to represent them during the service. This Mass will include a short mission message by Through Faith Missions to support our More Than Gold Mission.

Mission: South Down Walk

South Down Walk Saturday 9 June 10:30am, St Mary of the Angels Car Park

A relaxed and informal walk on the South Downs for all ages and experience levels, with return coach transportation.

This event includes a short mission message by Through Faith Missions to support our More Than Gold Mission.

Please bring comfortable, practical shoes, water to drink and packed lunch. We aim to return to the church car park by 2pm.

Help us to stop the rot!

Sadly it has just been discovered that the rot caused by a blocked downpipe has spread into a considerable part of the Sacristy area of the Church and the Parish Centre.

This is going to be expensive to cure and put right. You have been most generous in your financial support of the Parish. Please keep it up or even, if it is possible increase it.

Fr Chris would like to meet anyone who comes from another country THIS Friday 25th May to discuss ways of contacting those from other countries who have, in our irreligious, country ceased to take an active part in our Faith.

CAFOD Pentecost Reflection Day

TAKE TIME OUT THIS PENTECOST

CAFOD are holding a Pentecost reflection day for all supporters and volunteers on Saturday the 26th of May from 11am — 5 pm at Woldingham School, Surrey (near Caterham).

Susy Brouard from CAFOD’s theology programme will facilitate us in reflecting on how the Spirit of the Lord is upon us and our call to hunger and thirst for justice.
